MCMA Scholarships - Deadline Now April 1st!

The Media & Content Marketing Association (MCMA) is devoted to helping our members achieve excellence and success in media and content marketing through education and networking opportunities. As part of our commitment to education, the MCMA is awarding the several scholarships to be applied towards college tuition and related expenses. The deadline for application submission is now April 1st.

MCMA's Emeritus Member Application

The MCMA acknowledges long-standing members of the publishing community through its Member Emeritus program. Emeritus Members can enjoy benefits such as: lifetime membership (no charge), discounted attendance rates at functions, and more. Applications are being accepted through April 26th. The 2019 class of Emeritus Members will be announced at MCMA Day this May.

The MCMA's March Luncheon "Making Sense of Paywalls and Pay meters" was another one for the books. Our panel tackled the assumption that there’s not enough readership to go around to justify paywalls, noting that there are ways to move forward and get premium content to work for you. Regardless of whether you use a paywall or not, you still need quality content.

Marketing Land conducted a digital agency survey and found that a majority of respondents were "neutral" when asked about automation. Learning more about what's driving the indifference can open doors to create a thoughtful approach to this growing wave that most would argue you can not ignore..

Amazon is slashing royalties for video makers uploading to Prime Video

Content owners gained the ability in 2016 to put their content inside Prime Video to be found next to movies and TV shows produced by Amazon inside the app. Amazon will pay out royalties with set rates based on the hours viewed per title. Amazon paid between 6 cents and 15 cents per hour viewed in 2018, but the prices are set to drop in the US for 2019... Read more by clicking below.
